Last night the Embassy of Slovenia participated at the "Taste of the World" event at the Nationals Park. Prior to the game between Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals, embassy staff offered to the visitors traditional Slovenian foods and beer. The ambassador took part at the pregame ceremonies with Slovenian flag displayed on the field. At the same time around 30 000 folks had to answer the question: What anniversary is Slovenia celebrating this year?
