New York, 16. of November  - Team of Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana, under the leadership of Vasilka Sancin, has reached the highest title at the competition at the headquarters of the Organization of United Nations. They have been declared the best delegation in the world in simulating the work of the organization. The competition, titled World International Model United Nations (WIMUN) 2015 WFUNA, is a very prestigious competition, with this year more than 500 delegates attending, from more than 50 countries. The Slovenian team already won such an award last year in Rome.

Domen Turšič, Matic Burkeljc, Jan Marčič Maruško, Maks David Osojnik, Brina Žitnik, Veronika Cukrov in Gal Šumak Pečenko

The team, composed of Veronika Cukrov, Domen Turšič, Matic Burkeljc, Jan Marčič Maruško, Maks David Osojnik (who have all recieved individual awards for the best delegates in their own committees) and Gal Šumak Pečenko participated in the committees of Security Council and the first, second and sixth General Assembly of the UN, where participants represented different countries and looked for solutions to pressing world problems.
